42-year-old Manoj won the latest Fast-5 draw at Emirates Draw. The mega prize is won when five numbers are matched from 42 balls. Manoj along with his friends regularly participates in all the three games of the week at Emirates Draw – Fast-5, Easy-6 and Mega-7.
Manoj says that despite facing financial difficulties and sleepless nights, he found solace in the Emirates draw with his friends. He said that in the last two years he was struggling to pay his heavy debt and the prize money would be used for this purpose.
Emirates draws millions of dirhams regularly. Fast-5 is a weekly competition held on Saturdays at 9pm UAE time. Participants stand a chance to win a mega prize of AED 25,000 every month for 25 years. Magesh Kumar Natarajan, a native of Tamil Nadu, recently received this rare gift.

Farewell of Samiksha Sahityavedi to Roshan Nair
Jeddah: Roshan Nair, who is moving to Qatar, was given a farewell at the monthly meeting of Samiksha Sahityavedi. The meeting in November became a platform to express strong protest against Israel’s ongoing human rights abuses in Palestine and to express solidarity with the Palestinian people. The panelists noted that the brutal killing of children by the Israeli army in the name of war has no parallels in history.
Roshan Nair, who inaugurated the event, shared his reading experiences and also recalled the contributions of Samiksha Sahityavedi to the friendly community of Jeddah.
