New Delhi. As a neighbouring country, India is deeply concerned about the anarchic situation in Bangladesh. The incidents of atrocities on minority Hindus in Bangladesh are horrifying. In such a situation, the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formed a committee to monitor the situation in Bangladesh.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given this information through a post on social media platform X. He has informed that the ADG of BSF’s Eastern Command has been made the chairman of the committee. Amit Shah wrote, ‘Modi government has formed a committee to monitor the current situation on the India-Bangladesh border. The government committee will be in touch with the officials in Bangladesh to ensure the safety of Indian citizens, Hindus and minorities. The government committee to monitor the situation on the India-Bangladesh border will be headed by the ADG of BSF’s Eastern Command.
Let us tell you that after the coup of Sheikh Hasina government in Bangladesh, the situation has become very serious. Mobs of radical Muslims are attacking the houses, business establishments and temples of minority Hindus. Many innocent Hindus have been killed in the attacks of fundamentalists. To save their lives, a large number of Hindus are reaching the border to take refuge in India. In such a situation, being a neighboring country, a big headache has arisen for India.
On the other hand, the United Nations has issued a big statement regarding the attacks on minority communities in Bangladesh. A spokesperson of the United Nations Secretary-General said that he is against racially based attacks or violence. The violence in Bangladesh should be controlled. After Sheikh Hasina resigned from her post and left the country, many temples, houses and establishments have been vandalized in the violence.
