The new law amendment will backfire on Indians

As part of controlling the expatriate population in Kuwait, the Kuwaiti government has introduced new amendments to the law related to population structure. The new authorities have brought amendments including the implementation of new expatriate recruitment policy according to the population of each country. The law also stipulates that decisions should be taken considering the nationality of expatriate workers while implementing the law related to population control in the country. This means that if more expatriates from a country are currently present in Kuwait, restrictions should be placed on recruitment from those countries. Thus the recruitment limit should be fixed for each country. Formulate such a recruiting policy considering factors such as education, age, nature of jobs, labor market requirements etc. This will be a big blow to the Indian diaspora as they are the largest in the population.
