New Delhi: 10,112 new cases of Covid infection have been confirmed in India in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the number of infections has decreased slightly while the previous day’s infection count was 12,193.
In a statement released by the Union Health Ministry, 10,112 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in India. As a result, the number of people undergoing treatment across the country has increased to 67,806. The number of people infected with Covid has increased to 4,48,91,989 (4.48 crore) across the country so far. The daily positivity ratio is 7.03 percent and the weekly positivity ratio is 5.43. The positivity rate is the average number of confirmed infections out of 100 people who are tested for Covid.
In the last 24 hours, 29 people have died due to Covid infection. Due to this, the number of people who have died due to the infection so far is 5,31,329.
Meanwhile, 9,833 people have recovered from Covid infection in the last 24 hours. This has increased the number of people who have recovered from the disease to 4,42,92,854.
So far 220.66 crore doses of covid vaccine have been administered.
