Delhi: Bill Gates opined that India’s progress in many sectors, including health, is promising. He had met Prime Minister Modi on Friday. He has posted his comments on the Gatesnotes blog in this regard.
Bill Gates is an American. One of the founders of Microsoft. The 67-year-old was the top richest person in the world from 1995 to 2017. He lost the top spot from 2010 to 2013. Because of that, he is an influential person known all over the world. He is now ranked sixth in the list of the world’s richest people.
He is touring India and meeting important celebrities. He has met Prime Minister Modi as part of it.
“The vaccines manufactured in India saved millions of lives during the Corona pandemic. Also, the medicines produced here are still helpful as medicine for other diseases.
PM Modi believes that Co-WIN is a model for the world. I also accept that,” he said.
He praised India’s digital revolution. He also talked about giving vaccination and digital certificate to billions of people especially through Ko’s platform. Yesterday, he raved about India’s 5G network.
