New Delhi: A company called Morning Consult has conducted a survey among Indian youth and published its report. It says:
Most young people see Russia as their greatest ally, followed by the United States as allies, and China and Pakistan as enemies. But India is trying to develop a neutral foreign policy. Indians view Ukraine and Iran as neutral.
38 percent of Indians blame Russia for Ukraine war. But 26 percent of Indians blame the US and 18 percent blame the NATO countries.
43 percent of Indians see China as the biggest threat. Even as India-China leaders hold talks between G-20 meetings, chances of a Chinese attack are high. Although India has become closer to the US, 22 percent see the US as a threat next to China.
Indians may be concerned that India may face problems as the US-China antagonism escalates. This is stated in the report.
