Nandapuri: India’s Yuki Bhambri and Saket Maineni won the men’s doubles title at the Bangkok Open Challenger tennis series.
India’s Yuki Bhambri and Saket Maineni played against Indonesia’s Christopher Rungat and Australia’s Akira Santillan in the doubles final of the series held at Nandaburi, Bangkok, Thailand. In this match which was played for one hour and 50 minutes, Yugi Bhambri and Saket Maineni won the trophy 2-6, 7-6 (7-6), 14-12.
This is the 6th ATP Challenger Series win for the pair together. With this, Yuki Bhambri is expected to move up to 90th position and Saket Maineni to 74th position in the doubles category.
