The recruitment agency will inform both parties about the insurance coverage while drafting the final contract between the employer and the domestic worker. The insurance plan will be implemented in such a way that the rights of the employer and the employee are fully protected. If the domestic worker runs away from the employer’s house, falls ill or dies during the contract period, the employer is entitled to compensation.

TV reported quoting the ministry officials that the insurance scheme will only charge an amount that everyone can afford. If the employer does not pay the wages as per the contract of recruitment, the employee can approach the insurance company and collect the money due to the salary arrears.
