The 33rd edition of the Al Gaffal 60-foot local sailing ship race, which was held last Saturday, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, received distinguished coverage from international media outlets, which published a number of photos taken by photographers from News agencies such as the European Agency (EPA), Zuma Agency, and the German Agency, while the French Press Agency broadcast a one-minute video about the stages of the race.
The race started near Sir Bu Nair Island, passing through the Island of the Moon, deep in the waters of the Arabian Gulf, until it reached the finish line at Jumeirah Beaches.
A group of photos taken at the decisive stages of the race showed the beauty of the Dubai waterfront and the magic of the picturesque Dubai skyline, recording beautiful moments in which the splendor of the beautiful past was mixed with the bright present.
