The new update versions include iOS 12.5.7, iOS 15.7.3, iPadOS 15.7.3, macOS Big Sur 11.7.3, and macOS Monterey 12.6.3.
Users can see that iOS versions have been skipped between iOS 12 and iOS 15. Those are the reasons where the devices were disconnected from updating.
The tech giant does not release updates for every version as iOS 13 and iOS 15 are compatible with every device.
The iPhone 5S, which was introduced in September 2013, is the oldest smartphone supported by iOS 12.5.7.
In addition, the MacBook Air, Mac Pro, and MacBook Pro from 2013 are the earliest Macs that support macOS Big Sur.
The report states that users with automatic updates enabled will not need to do anything, however, those who wish to manually install the update can do so through the Settings app.(IANS)
