Khalil Ahmed stunned the Sunrisers in the second over as they chased down a mega target of 208 runs. Sunrisers opener Abhishek Sharma was caught trying to hit a six off his ball. Another opening batsman, Kane Williamson, tied the innings with 4 runs. Rahul Tripathi and Aidan Markram then sought to form a partnership. However, part-time bowler Mitchell Marsh was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav for dismissing Tripathi, who had scored 22 runs. Markram returned to the pavilion for 42 runs.
