Chennai: Chennai Super Kings have announced South African fast bowler Sisanda Mahala as the replacement for the injured Kyle Jamieson for the upcoming IPL season. The IPL cricket matches are going to start on 31st.
Sisanda Mahala, 32, has played 5 ODIs and 4 T20 Internationals for South Africa. He recently played for Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 league series held in the country and took 14 wickets in 12 matches. It is noteworthy that he took two wickets in the final match.
New Zealander Kyle Jamison was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 1 crore in the IPL auction held in December last year. In this case, he withdrew from the IPL 2023 season due to injury. In this context, the Chennai Super Kings team has announced a replacement for him.
