Delhi: Gujarat Titans won the IPL T20 match against Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets.
Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals clash in today’s match of the 16th IPL season. Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first in this match held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Accordingly, captain David Warner scored 37 runs for the Delhi team who entered the batting field.
Sarpras Khan scored 30 runs and Abhishek Borel scored 20 runs. Axar Patel bowled responsibly in the final phase and was dismissed for 36 runs. None of the others were very soapy. Thus, the Delhi team scored 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Gujarat, Shami and Rashid Khan took 3 wickets each and Alzari Joseph took 2 wickets.
