Delhi: Punjab Kings won the match against Delhi Capitals by 31 runs.
Chasing a target of 168 runs, the Delhi team got off to a good start. Philip Salt was dismissed for 21 runs as the opening partnership reached 69 runs that lasted until the power play. All those who came after this quickly got out in short runs and made their way. Although Captain Warner played responsibly, no one stood by him.
Only Warner got out after scoring 54 runs. Chasing an easy target, Delhi scored only 136 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. By this Punjab Kings won by 31 runs.

Shah Rukh Khan was run out for 2 runs at the end of the stipulated 20 overs, losing 7 wickets, Punjab had added 167 runs. Ishant Sharma took 2 wickets and Akshar Patel, Mukesh Kumar, Praveen Dube and Kuldeep Yadav took 1 wicket each for Delhi team.
