Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders clashed in the second league match of the current IPL season. Kolkata won the toss and chose to bowl. Accordingly, Prabsimran Singh – Shikhar Dhawan gave the start to the Punjab team. Prabsimran Singh hit 2 sixes and 2 fours but got out in the 2nd over. Panuka Rajapaksa and Shikhar Dhawan formed a partnership and sent Kolkata’s balls flying with panache. Due to the action of both, the Punjab team lost 1 wicket and added 100 runs at the end of 10 overs.
