TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to AP DGP condemning the attacks on TDP leaders in the state. He alleged that police colluded with YSRCP in Kuppam constituency. Chandrababu wrote a letter refuting the DGP’s declaration that the situation in Kumpa was fine. He stated in the letter that it is not true to say that no complaint has been received from TDP.
- The police colluded with the YSRCP leaders in Kuppam
- Is it a small thing for you to break the head of a common man TDP worker?
- Chandrababu’s letter says if the police do this, where is the justice?
“Do you think it is a small matter if a person in plain clothes breaks the head of a TDP worker among the police? Where is the justice if the police are making complaints out of nowhere? It is untrue that no complaint has been received from the TDP. The local police have not registered a case on the complaints given by the victimized TDP leaders. YSRCP has taken the complaints given by them and filed 307 against the TDP supporters. A case has been filed under severe sections,” Chandrababu Naidu said in a letter to the DGP.
Chandrababu Naidu strongly condemned the attack on former corporator in Vijayawada. They demanded immediate arrest of those who attacked Chennupati Gandhi. Chandrababu expressed concern that Gandhi was in danger of losing his eyesight due to the attack and ordered the party leaders to get better medical treatment. Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy was asked to answer what steps he would take.
