Majd team coach, former Al Ain international player, Ismail Ahmed, said that his team’s victory over its counterpart, Gulf FC, 3-1, the day before yesterday, in the seventh round of the first division football league, is a turning point towards better results. Especially since it is the first victory the team has recorded this season.
He told Emirates Today: “The victory paved the way for the team to move from 13th to 10th place, advancing three places in the rankings, after raising its score to six points from six matches.”
He added: “The team needs time to adapt more, as it provided a good performance despite suffering negative results in the past matches, compared to what other clubs enjoyed.”
He added: “We have two clear goals, which are to create a strong team capable of staying in the competition and competing.”
