New Delhi: Isudhan Gadvi has been announced as Aam Aadmi Party’s Gujarat Chief Ministerial candidate.
Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party held a poll on who should become the chief ministerial candidate. In this, Bhagwant Man got the most votes. Subsequently, he himself was fielded as the chief ministerial candidate. After the election victory, he is also serving as the Chief Minister.
In this case, Aam Aadmi Party has started the same approach in Gujarat too. Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party’s national coordinator, speaking to the media in Surat on October 29, said that the people of Gujarat can decide who should become the Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial candidate. For this, the party nominated the names of leading leaders of Aam Aadmi Party such as Gujarat State Aam Aadmi Party President Gopal Italia, National General Secretary Isudan Gadvi and General Secretary Manoj Soradia. It was announced that any one of them can choose one of them and communicate it through mobile number 6357000360, WhatsApp message or voice message. It was also informed that the preference can be expressed through the e-mail address aapnocm@gmail.com. The Aam Aadmi Party, which had said that the public could express their wishes till 5 pm on November 3, had announced that the result would be announced on November 4.
Accordingly, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party National Coordinator Arvind Kejriwal announced the decision at a function held today. He said that Isudhan Gadvi got 73 percent votes in the Gujarat CM candidate poll. After this, all the party executives congratulated Isudhan Gadvi who was on the stage.
