Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has opined that the completion of Test cricket matches in two-and-a-half days is not commendable. He said this in the context that the first 3 Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Cup series between India and Australia will not be held for five full days.
“There is no problem as the balls are played on pitches that spin. But at the same time it is not appreciable that Test matches are completed in two and a half days. The game should have close results. Recently, the match should be like a Test match between England and New Zealand.
