The bubble of “pervasive force” vanished after the Algerian Football Federation announced its intention to withdraw its bid to organize the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, after those controlling football in the eastern neighbor sensed that their situation was approaching and that their country did not even have the capabilities to organize a local league.
Only a day away from announcing the winner of the honor of organizing the 2025 and 2027 editions of the Cannes Cup, as scheduled, tomorrow, Wednesday, during the meeting of the Executive Office of the Confederation of African Football in Cairo, the Algerian Federation decided to withdraw in a huff, in the face of the quality and strength of the Moroccan file.
Because the source of pretexts is inexhaustible at the mouths of the Algerian military regime, Hafid Draghi, who is charged with the task of beautifying the ugly faces of the “Cabarans,” anticipated the announcement of the Algerian withdrawal, attributing this to the fact that candidacy is not considered among his country’s priorities.
In a blatant attempt to cover up the obvious shortcomings in the Algerian file, compared to the honorable kingdom’s file, the commentator, known for his hostility to Morocco, said that a change in Algeria’s priorities was what prompted the decision to withdraw from the race to win the “CAN” organization in its 2025 edition, and from 2027. , which Senegal is considered the most likely candidate for the honor of organizing it.
What is noteworthy is that the mouthpieces of the military regime, knowingly or without knowing the extent of their country’s weakness, continued to cling to the hope of organizing the 2025 African Cup of Nations. They were bombarded with several media reports declaring Morocco’s intention to withdraw its candidacy due to the devastating “Al Haouz earthquake.”
The military mouthpieces promoted that Morocco was preparing to withdraw from the race to organize the “Cannes” organization, and that Algeria was positioned in the best corridor to obtain the honor of the organization, but the hopes quickly faded and with it the bubble of “strike force”, which seemed unwilling to put its words into reality. .
It became clear that the Algerian military regime, when it launched the Algerian Football Federation to announce its candidacy to host CAN 2025, was fully aware that it could not compete with Morocco, but decided on this step to obstruct the “eternal enemy” on the one hand and to hypnotize football fans in Algeria and mislead the deceiver. On the other hand, they believe that their country is capable of engaging in such competition.
Indeed, when tested, a person is either proud or humiliated.
