In Rubezhnoye, as a result of a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher (MLRS) missile strike, two entrances were almost completely destroyed. Izvestia correspondent Yegor Kildibekov visited the site of the explosion and showed the consequences on Friday, April 7.
“As usual, it “banged” – we are already used to it, we are not afraid of anything. But it’s a shame, of course. We got up in the morning, and two people died there,” a local resident said.
The rocket explosion shattered the windows, some of the balconies had partitions broken.
On Wednesday night, Ukrainian militants attacked the city, firing two shells from the HIMARS MLRS. As a result of the shelling, a 65-year-old man was killed, a woman was injured.
On the same day, three people were killed when Ukraine hit a bus stop in Lisichansk (LPR). One person was hurt.
The Ukrainian army shells the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics every day. Most often, Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya (DPR) and a number of settlements of the LPR fall under fire.
