Farmers formally started the Maha Padayatra 2 from Amaravati to Arasavalli today. Responding to this march, CPI Narayana stated that this is the second struggle of Amaravati farmers. Rajdhani Farmers Maha Padayatra 2.0 was inaugurated this morning. Farmers launched Maha Padayatra 2.0 to explain the need of Amaravati capital to the people of the state. After performing special pujas at the TTD temple in Venkatapalem, Lord Venkateswara led the chariot outside the temple and offered the seed. After conducting interfaith prayers, the farmers started the padayatra. This padayatra will be about a thousand kilometers long. About 600 farmers will participate in this padayatra. A public meeting will be held at Arasavalli to celebrate the end of the padayatra.
