Senior actress Jamuna (86) passed away at her residence in Hyderabad on Friday. She died due to illness. As an actress who acted in many diverse roles, her death is a great loss for Tollywood. Jamuna’s death is a tragedy in Tollywood. She has acted opposite many superstars of South including senior NTR and ANR.
Jamuna was born on 30 August 1936 in Hampi. Her parents are Nippani Srinivasa Rao and Kausalya Devi. He is a businessman. Her mother tongue is Kannada. She acted in nearly 200 films in Telugu and South Indian languages. He also acted in many Hindi films. In 1967, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for the Hindi film Milan and the 1964 film Muga Manasulu. NTR got National Award in 2008.
