Mumbai: The BCCI announced the Indian squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup yesterday. Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel, who have recovered from injury, have returned to the team. Meanwhile, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was not included due to injury.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup cricket series will be held in Australia from October 16 to November 13. Selection of the Indian team to participate in this series was held yesterday. Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel, who have recovered from injury, have returned to the team.
Meanwhile, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was injured during the Asia Cup, was not included. Mohammed Shami, Deepak Shahr, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi have been added as substitutes. Before the T20 World Cup, Australia and South Africa teams are going to tour India.
The Australian team is going to play a 3 T20 series. The series will be held from 20th to 25th. Meanwhile, South Africa plays 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The series runs from September 28 to October 11. Mohammed Shami and Deepak Shahr have been given a chance in both these series.
