Veteran actor VK Naresh’s self-produced film ‘Malli Pelli’ marks his 50th anniversary in the film industry. The film was produced under the Vijaya Krishna Movies banner founded by his mother Vijayanirmala. Pavitra Lokesh acted as his partner. Vanitha Vijayakumar played a pivotal role. Jayasudha in a guest role. This movie is releasing in theaters on 26th of this month. It is coming to the audience in Kannada as well as Telugu. As the release date is nearing, a pre-release event of ‘Malli Pelli’ was held today in Hyderabad as part of the promotion of the film. Jayasudha, who participated in this event, made interesting comments.
Jayasudha said that the pre-release event of ‘Malli Pelli’ is a very special event. “Completing 50 years in the industry is not easy. Not everyone gets that luck. I don’t know how many people remember.. My aunty Vijayanirmala and uncle Superstar Krishna introduced me and my Naresh to the movie ‘Pandanti Kapuram’. After that our journey continued. I became the heroine, Naresh became the hero. Both of us are busy with our films. Even though we acted as hero and heroines (separately) in a few hundreds of movies and grew up as stars… we are considered good actors and we are lucky to get such roles. I don’t need to tell you what a great actor Naresh is. He played some different roles when he became a hero. Jayasudha said that there are many films where the audience said that Naresh has done a great job as a character artist.
Jayasudha said that she and her husband Nitin Kapoor have made films with Naresh as producers.. Among the films they produced, ‘Adrisham’ is the greatest film. People did not understand the movie ‘Adrishtam’ in those days. Then we made the film that is to be made now. The present generation should watch that movie. Beautiful movie.. Anand Miland has composed excellent music’, revealed Jayasudha. He said that when Vijaykrishna Movies completed 50 years, he and Naresh also completed 50 years in the industry and it is a great thing to act together again under that banner. Jayasudha jokingly said that there is no need to call the audience to come to the theaters to watch this ‘Malli Pelli’ movie.. they will come themselves.
Talking indirectly about the news about Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh’s relationship and the trolls on social media, Jayasudha said that many people are more interested in what happens next door than what happens in our house. So, she expressed hope that people will go to see this movie.. It will be sensational.
