Jelle Brandt Corstius will not be punished for defamation in his years of conflict with Gijs van Dam

Journalist and program maker Jelle Brandt Corstius will not be punished for defamation after an accusation of rape he made years ago against TV producer Gijs van Dam. This has been decided by the court of Amsterdam. The Public Prosecution Service had demanded a suspended community service of sixty hours against him.
