He said that it is natural to create chaos and anger over the very tragic incident of death of 10 newborn children due to fire in Maharani Lakshmibai Medical College, Jhansi. Strict legal punishment is necessary for the culprits for such fatal negligence. It is impossible to compensate for such incidents. Still, the government must help the affected families in every possible way.

The government has announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the newborn victims of the Jhansi Medical College accident.
