Jio Platforms and Nvidia partner for best cloud artificial intelligence, Mukesh Ambani keeps promise

In Reliance AGM, Mukesh Ambani promised to take artificial intelligence to every Indian.

Coming together with Jio Platforms and Nvidia, India will emerge as a major force in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

This will help the country’s industries to move ahead of many competing companies.

Mumbai Jio Platforms has announced that it will collaborate with Nvidia to build a state-of-the-art cloud-based artificial intelligence infrastructure. India is already working ahead in the field of Artificial Intelligence but the coming together of Jio and Nvidia will help India grow faster in this field.

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries recently made a big promise at the company’s AGM – to take artificial intelligence to every Indian. In the words of Mukesh Ambani, “Jio promised seven years ago that we would take broadband connectivity to every Indian, everywhere. We have fulfilled our promise. Today Jio is promising that we will survive only by taking artificial intelligence to every Indian in every nook and corner of the country.”

Mukesh Ambani has said that India’s development will accelerate with this partnership, “India is using a lot of data. But now we are going further than that. We are now creating a technology infrastructure that will help in rapid development of the country. Together with Nvidia, we are building a computing and technology supercentre. With this, the country will get the same help as it got in the digital sector after the arrival of Jio. I am glad that Jio and Nvidia are starting a new journey together to achieve one goal.”

Speaking on the occasion, Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO, Nvidia said, “We are delighted to partner with Reliance to build state-of-the-art AI supercomputers in India. India has large scale, data and talent. With the most advanced AI computing infrastructure, Reliance can build it. They have great language models that power generator AI applications built in India for people in India.”

The new AI cloud infrastructure will enable researchers, developers, startups, scientists, AI practitioners and others across India to access instant computing and high-speed, secure cloud networking to run workloads securely and with extreme energy efficiency .

The new basic infrastructure will accelerate a wide range of India’s key initiatives and AI projects, including AI chatbots, drug discovery, climate research and more.

As part of this new collaboration, Nvidia will provide end-to-end supercomputer technology, including CPU, GPU, networking, and AI operating systems and frameworks, to Jio to build the most advanced AI models. Jio will manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure and oversee customer connect and access.
