“Building an ecosystem of development is very important for the company. And the work on “Jio 2.0″ has already started,” he added.
“We are working with IIT Bombay on the project to start the ‘Bharat GPT’ programme”, he said while talking about Jio’s partnership with IIT Bombay.
“Currently, we have only scratched the surface of large language models and generative AI. These applications will define the next decade. Artificial intelligence will transform all areas of products and services. We are working hard to utilize AI in all our areas,” he said.
The company will introduce products and services in the media space, commerce, communication and devices, he added.
“We have been working on our own OS (operating system) for TVs for some time now and we are thoroughly thinking about how to introduce it,” Ambani said.
Ambani said 2024 is a special year for the family as his brother is getting married in this year.
The company is very excited about offering 5G private networks, he said, adding that the 5G stack will serve any enterprise regardless of its size.
Describing India as the “biggest innovation center” of the next decade, Akash Ambani expressed confidence that the country will become a $6 trillion economy by the end of the decade.
He said Jio operates with the belief that it is good for India and described money as a “product” of service to the country.
Calling Jio the world’s biggest startup, Ambani said young entrepreneurs should not fear failure.
“Entrepreneurs should work for the good of society. Especially if one is involved in the consumer sector, one should have a deep passion for the work they are doing.
Technology can help transcend boundaries including population and caste. And Jio will always keep an eye on future technology”, he added.
