Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been painting cows since leaving office. The politician spoke about this in an interview on the show “Friday Night with Nadine” on TalkTV, which is hosted by his friend and colleague Nadine Dorris, the former Minister of Culture of Great Britain.
“Actually, drawing cows is much more difficult than you think. Studying cows takes a lot of time. I now draw cows in my book, pictures of whole cows and individual parts of them, ”The Independent quotes Johnson.
According to the ex-premier, now he is striving to learn how to skillfully portray a cow. After that, the politician intends to start drawing horses.
This isn’t the first time Johnson has shown off an unusual hobby. In 2019, in an interview on TalkRadio, he stated that he makes model buses. The politician said that he makes them from wooden boxes for storing wine bottles, after which he deliberately ages and paints.
Earlier, on January 17, The Indeprndent reported that the ex-premier had struck a deal with publisher HarperCollins to write an autobiography, which, according to sources in publishing circles, will bring him more than £6 million ($7.35 million). A release date for the book has yet to be announced.
Johnson led the UK government from 24 July 2019 to 6 September 2022. He announced his resignation from the post of head of the Cabinet on July 7 amid the departure of more than 50 politicians from the government. The ex-head of the Cabinet of Ministers was remembered as the most ardently supporting Kyiv politician who promotes the anti-Russian agenda.
