Producer Dil Raju wanted to make a film with Srivas after the film ‘Lakshyam’. If you tell the same thing to Srivas, he has prepared a good story. He was told that this would be good for Junior NTR.
‘Dil Raju listened to the story for 10 minutes and asked, ‘This is a wonderful story, we should do it, who would like it?’ I told Tarak that it would be great. I will work on the story for 20 days. We both went together and told the story to NTR. After listening to his story, he said, “This is not an ordinary story, there has not been a story like this in recent times. This is a film that needs to be made with 100% time.” Immediately we started working on that story. BVS Ravi, I and Ratnam worked together for many days,’ said Srivas.
However, Srivas revealed that while working on the story, Dil Raju’s brother adopted a village and incorporated it into their story. ‘The story came out very well. We told the final story to NTR. When I heard his story, I don’t know the reasons, but I got a little doubt somewhere. I doubted whether the story would work out for me. He doubted the project which was worked on for four to five months and said that it would be better if another hero did it. For a second I went blank. Srivas said that if I had done that story that day, Srimanthudu, Shatamanam Bhavati and Maharshi stories would not have come out. This happened in 2008.
After that Srivas revealed that he told the same story to Pawan Kalyan. ‘When I told him just the idea, he got very excited and said that this is not an ordinary story, let’s sit down and work. He could not because of personal work and party work. All this happened in 2008. So if I had a different story, I would have done ‘Ramarama Krishnakrishna’ with Ram,” said Srivas.
