K Viswanath: Director Giant Who Raised The Fame Of Telugu Cinema.. Chiranjeevi, NTR Tribute To Kalathapaswi

Legendary directors K Viswanath who survived the art by making artistic films even in the era when contemporary directors were competing with commercial films. He breathed his last on Thursday night at the age of 92, who continued to dominate the Telugu industry as a director for more than four decades. He started his career as a sound engineer in 1957 and later worked as an assistant director for several films. In 1965, ANNR made his directorial debut with the film ‘Athmagaravam’ as the protagonist. In this sequence, he created many artistic films and was recognized as Kalatapasvi. With his death, the Telugu industry is in a state of mourning. In this order, Megastar Chiranjeevi (Chiranjeevi) and Jr. NTR (NTR) paid tributes to Kalathapaswi on Twitter platform.

‘Unexpected shock.. Vishwanath shared a special note saying that the loss of Gari is an irreparable loss not only for Indian/Telugu cinema but also for him personally. ‘This is a very sad day. The news of the death of the paternal ascetic, Kala Tapasvi K. Vishwanath came as a shock. Words are not enough to describe his greatness. The style of his paintings is unique, which amuses scholars and laymen alike. There is probably no other director who has turned even subtle art films into blockbuster hits like him. He is a great director who took the fame of Telugu nation to the world level through his films. I got an opportunity to act in three films under their direction namely ‘Shubhalekha, Swayamkrishi, Apadbhandavudu’. I personally have a Guru-disciple relationship with him. Beyond that is the bond between father and son. The time spent with him is the most precious to me,’ said the note about Kalathapasvi.

Junior NTR tweeted.. ‘Vishwanath has a high place among those who spread the fame of Telugu cinema to the continents. He gave many incredible films like ‘Sankarabharanam, Sagara Sangamam’. The loss without him is never-ending. I wish his soul to rest in peace while conveying my deepest condolences to his family.
