Kashinathuni Vishwanath, who started his film career as a studio sound recordist in Madras at that time, grew step by step. Vishwanath worked as an assistant director for the director KV Reddy for the movie ‘Patala Bhairavi’. And in 1965, he made his debut as a director with the movie ‘Athmaguravam’. The first film received the Nandi Award in the Best Film category. After that, films directed by K. Vishwanath, ‘Chelleli Kapuram’, ‘Kaal Bari’, ‘Saradha’, ‘O Sita Katha’ and ‘Jeevana Jyoti’ received Nandi awards.
