92-year-old Kashinathuni Vishwanath has been suffering from age-related ailments for some time now. Vishwanath, who was confined to his house for a long time, fell ill on Thursday night. He was immediately taken to Filmnagar Apollo Hospital. He breathed his last at midnight while being treated there. The body of Vishwanath was taken home from the hospital at night. Today morning all the cine celebrities went to Vishwanath’s house and paid respects to his mortal remains.

Even in death, he never lost his connection with his classic movie. It is a great thing that K. Vishwanath who made his first film with a legendary actor like Akkineni Nageswara Rao, also received the Nandi Award for it. He has a total of 8 Nandi awards to his credit. Moreover, the movie ‘Sankarabharanam’ won the National Film Award. He received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2016 for his contribution to the field of cinema.
