In 1965, director Adurthi Subbarao directed the film ‘Tene Manasulu’ with new actors. This is the first film for actor Krishna. Vishwanath worked as an assistant director for the experimental film in Eastman Color. It was in this sequence that Vishwanath trained Krishna in acting and reading for his first film. Their association which started like this continued even after that. Moreover, Krishna acted in the films ‘Undamma Bottu Pedatha, Neramu-Siksha’ directed by Vishwanath.
Vishwanath’s directorial talent came to light with the movie ‘Siri Siri Muvva’. After this he directed many classic films. He made artistic films with superstars like Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh. It is no exaggeration to say that despite the commercial image of the respective actors, Vishwanath is recognized as an actor in the movies. The reason behind this is that Kala Tapaswi chooses stories and portrays characters that are close to naturalism. That’s why even big stars wanted to act with Vishwanath in one movie.
