The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced his desire to declare martial law on the territory of the Russian Federation, if it were within his powers.
“It’s my personal opinion. I say this not as the head of the republic, but as a citizen, patriot and volunteer helping our guys, although no one obliges and no one gave such an order. I myself volunteered to help and I am trying to do it as efficiently as possible, ”he wrote in the Telegram channel.
Kadyrov also noted that he would use “any weapon” on Ukrainian territory, since today the Russian Federation, in his words, is at war with an entire bloc of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier Wednesday, Kadyrov denied the retreat of Russian troops during a special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass, noting that with such a statement he would like to reassure “the most violent and most skeptical commentators.”
On September 12, the Chechen head explained that the special forces of Chechen fighters “Akhmat” control all the strategically important positions occupied in the Zaporozhye region. In addition, Kadyrov announced the return of elite Chechen special forces fighters to the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), and announced an “interesting surprise” for Ukrainian fighters from the fighters of the Akhmat special forces.
The head of Chechnya said that there would be no deviations or emergency situations, and the special operation of the Russian Federation to protect the Donbass is advancing thanks to the well-established interaction of the Chechen power units with the allied forces.
Kadyrov also stressed that the regrouping of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region is a necessary measure, supported by military strategy and the goal of saving human lives. According to him, Russia will return control over settlements.
On February 24, Russia announced the start of a special operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass. It began against the backdrop of the situation in the region that worsened in mid-February.
