The Egyptian club, Future, announced that it had received an official letter from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), stating that the result of its match with Togolese Asco Kara in the Confederation Championship will be counted in its favour.
Isco Cara tied with Future 1/1 in the match that took place between them in Group C of the Confederation Championship.
Today, Sunday, the media center of Future Club stated that (CAF) decided to count the Togolese champion Asco Kara team as a loser in its first match against the Future team in the group stage.
He added, “After this decision, our team became the leader of Group C in the Confederation Championship, with 10 points.”
In a letter to Future Club, Kaf stated that Asko Kara team included the player Kanjivi Choshushi during the Future match despite his suspension, which is considered a violation of the regulations of the African Confederation.
After a sufficient decision, the Future team equaled the Royal Army, each with 10 points, while Pyramids had 8 points and Asco Cara without a balance.
It is noteworthy that the Royal Army was a guarantor of qualification for the knockout rounds of the tournament before the sixth – the last – round, but with this decision, it became possible to deposit the competition in the last round, at a time when the Future team will face its compatriot Pyramids in the same round.
