Kalba defeated Al-Oruba with three unanswered goals, in the match that brought them together this Friday evening, at Kalba Stadium, in the seventh round of the ADNOC Professional League.
Leandro opened the scoring early in the match with a powerful shot from outside the box that landed to the left of Al Orouba’s goalkeeper “8”, which was the goal that ended the first half.
During the second stage of the match, Mehdi Qaidi won a penalty kick after being fouled inside the box, and Daniel Bessa succeeded in converting it into the goal “56”.
Mehdi Qaidi continued offering gifts to his teammates, when he took advantage of a defensive error by Al-Orouba, and dribbled past more than one defender to pass the ball on a golden platter to Daniel Bessa, who shot it into the goal without the slightest difficulty (76).
Kalba raised its score to the tenth point, jumping to sixth place, ahead of Al Wasl, the defending champion, who fell to seventh place, while Al Orouba’s score froze at three points in the penultimate place.
