The Kalba team regained its victorious tone in direct confrontations with Dibba Al-Hisn, when it defeated them (7-3), the day before yesterday, in the 13th round of the Futsal League.
Kalba had suffered two consecutive losses to Dibba Al-Hisn in the Emirates Cup competition (2-3) in the first leg and (3-4) in the second leg, which cost it out of the tournament.
The two teams faced off in four matches during the current season in a rare scene, as Dibba Al-Hisn won twice compared to one victory for Kalba, in addition to their draw (3-3) at the beginning of the current season.
Kalba rose to third place in the league standings with 23 points, ahead of Dibba Al Hisn (19 points) in fourth place.
The results of the current round resulted in a victory for Al Bataeh over Yarmouk (3-0), Khor Fakkan over Al Mouj (13-0), and “Residence and Foreigners Affairs Dubai” over Al Hamriyah (7-4).
Al-Bataeh leads the league with 29 points, followed by Khor Fakkan with 28 points in second place.
