KGF2 released last year became a blockbuster and received positive reviews from critics. Hero Yash was also praised. But Kantara actor Kishore decided not to watch KGF2 movie. Because he doesn’t like such movies at all. Actually along with Kantara, KGF2 is also produced by Hombale Films production house.
Stating that he is not a fan of KGF’s brand of storytelling, Kishore said he prefers to support smaller content-based films dealing with serious issues rather than such ‘mindless’ films. ‘I don’t know if it’s right or wrong but I haven’t seen KGF2. This is not my kind of movie. This is my personal choice. I’d rather watch a small film with serious content than a mindless movie that doesn’t succeed,’ he said.
Kishore is currently at his peak stage as an actor. He received tremendous applause for his performance in ‘She Season 2’. He also played a key role in the film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ directed by Mani Ratnam. However, last year’s movie ‘Kantara’ became memorable in his career. Meanwhile, Kishore will soon make his debut in Bollywood with the suspense-thriller ‘Red Collar’. This film is directed by Chandrasekhar Bandiappa. But Kishore, who is of the opinion that he will not see this film as his Bollywood debut, said that the film he is making in Hindi is just that.
Kishore also acted in many Telugu films. He gained recognition especially with Allu Arjun’s ‘Happy’, NTR’s ‘Dammu’ and Rana’s ‘Krishna Vande Jagadgurum’.
