According to the information of Cine Circles, this movie which was aired recently on Star Malo got 12.35 ratings. This is truly a great thing. If Chiranjeevi’s Godfather movie is aired on TV, the movie gets 7.7 ratings, while Kantara gets 12.35 ratings. Saptami Gowda is the heroine in this movie directed by Rishabh Shetty and portraying the Bhoota Kola culture.
Kantara was shortlisted for the Oscars at the last minute but was not nominated. However, with the success kick given by Kantara, now Hombale Films is gearing up to make a prequel titled Kantara 2. Anyway, this time the producers are very determined to win the Oscars with Kantara 2.
