Businesswoman Karen Schwarz and her family were enjoying a New Year’s Eve vacation in the United States, with plans to welcome 2025 in the city of Miami. However, fate had an unexpected surprise in store for them. Just hours before saying goodbye to the year, the flight they were supposed to take from Philadelphia to Miami was canceled, leaving the family stranded in the middle of the airport.
The news of the cancellation came when the night was already late and the situation became even more complicated, as most of the nearby hotels were completely full due to high demand at the end of the year. Karen, with her husband Ezio Oliv o her two daughters, they found themselves without clear options and, for a moment, they did not know how to resolve the situation.
Despite the anguish, the Schwarz family did not give up and managed to find an available hotel at the last minute. At 11:50 pm, just before receiving 2025, the family settled in their room and prepared to face the situation in the best way possible.

Once settled in their new room, Karen Schwarz shared through her Instagram account what had happened and how, despite everything, she and her family managed to enjoy the moment. “Things happen for a reason. The important thing is that we are together,” the model wrote, transmitting a message of unity and positivism in the midst of adversity.
The family rang in the New Year in a special way: instead of celebrating it in Miami, as they had originally planned. “We didn’t plan to spend it like this, but it was the most beautiful thing. The 4 of us together and with this gift that was born from my Anto (a family drawing) as soon as we entered the room they gave us at 11:50 pm” commented the model.
