- Retirement from service six years in advance.
- Allegedly denigrating the beliefs of Hindus.
- The court ordered the police to register the case.
On this occasion, all the members of Swaroop vowed not to worship Hindu gods and not to offer fetuses. Beti Mahenderreddy, a lawyer, filed a case at the local police station on March 16, alleging that the issue had gone viral on social media and was against Hindu beliefs. On March 18, the lawyer lodged a complaint with the Karimnagar Police Commissioner alleging that no action had been taken.
The petition was filed on March 22 in the Principal Munsiff Magistrate’s Court by lawyer Ennampalli Gangadhar. After examining the evidence and background of the case, Judge Sai Sudha directed to register a case against Praveen Kumar and Natari Shankar. This development took place within two days of his voluntary retirement.
Responding to the court order, Praveen Kumar said that he was not anti-Hindu and that it was not right to make such an impression. He said he left the service to solve public problems. It is a conspiracy to propagate that he is doing good to one community only. Meanwhile, there is a lot of propaganda that Praveen Kumar, who has retired voluntarily, will enter politics. However, he said he would not join any party and would launch an awareness program on education in rural areas.
Despite six years of service left … it was revealed that the decision was made to work for the poor more freely, without any restrictions. The Telangana government has accepted the resignation of IPS RS Praveen Kumar. Orders were issued relieving him of his duties.
