At the end of the conference she offered in this city within the Women Economic Forum 2023 “Real Leaders and Lasting Leaders”, the winner of the National Journalism Award of Mexico and the Pagés Llergo and Ondas Internacionales de Radio awards, said that for women In addition to the challenges that men have to face, they have to face harassment in the development of their professional lives.
The nationally and internationally recognized journalist, also awarded the “Exceptional Women Of Excellence” award in 2020, shared her presentation “Reinventing yourself, no. Build, yes.”
In her dissertation she detailed a study carried out by UN Women, which explains that in politics 67 percent of women have received offensive comments or disqualifications; 53 percent have defamed or slandered themselves; while 31 percent have been denied financial resources or access to their own reports.

In addition, one in five of them said they have received comments that their professional achievements have been because they had sexual relations with someone and 17 percent have been harassed in their office.
She added that “at all levels of society, every day there are more women entrepreneurs and decision makers, that is because they are people who strive to prepare themselves, to learn every day and to set and achieve their goals.”
