Chennai: AIADMK has announced the OPS candidate for Bengaluru Pulikec Nagar constituency in the Karnataka Assembly elections. The Karnataka Assembly elections will be held on May 10. Elections for all 224 constituencies are held in one phase. Counting of votes will take place on May 13.
In this case, General Secretary EPS of the party announced yesterday that AIADMK will contest from Pulikec Nagar constituency in Bengaluru in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections. D. Anparasan was announced as the official candidate on behalf of AIADMK. In this case, O. Panneerselvam has announced that Nedunchezhiyan will be nominated as the official candidate of AIADMK in Pulikesi city.
In this regard, in a statement issued by him today (Thursday), he stated, “I hereby inform you that M. Nedunjezhiyan, Secretary of the Karnataka State Student Union, has been appointed as the official candidate of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly General Election to be held on 10.05.2023.”
Even though Edappadi Palaniswami has been selected as the General Secretary of the AIADMK while the Madras High Court has announced that the AIADMK General Committee will go, the AIADMK issue is pending before the Election Commission. In this case, OPS is identifying himself as AIADMK coordinator. In this case, on behalf of AIADMK, he has also announced his candidacy for Pulikec Nagar constituency in Bengaluru.
