Bengaluru: It has been reported that the Congress leadership has invited the candidates who are leading in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections to come to Bengaluru immediately.
The votes cast in the general elections held for the total 224 constituencies of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly are being counted at 36 centers across the state. First the postal votes were counted. Subsequently, the votes recorded in the electronic voting machines are being counted amid tight security.
10 am status: As of 10 am, Congress is leading in 116 constituencies, BJP in 76 constituencies and Janata Dal in 27 constituencies. Others lead in 5 blocks. As most post-election polls suggest, the Congress party in Karnataka is dancing and expressing its joy after the Congress party is leading.
Congress Chief Directive?: In this situation, it has been reported that the Congress has directed the candidates who are leading in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections to come to Bengaluru immediately. It is said that helicopters have been arranged to bring party leaders who are not in Bengaluru. It has been reported that the Congress leader has invited the candidates to Bengaluru to prevent horse-trading.
