New Delhi: In-charge and co-in-charge have been appointed to look after the election work of the state ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has been appointed as the in-charge and Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai as co-in-charge.
In this regard, the party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh said in a statement, “BJP National President J.P. Natta has appointed Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as BJP state in-charge and Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai as co-in-charge ahead of the Karnataka assembly elections. Effective immediately.”
Election excitement has increased in the politics of the state as elections have to be held before the month of May for the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. In view of the Assembly elections, the main opposition Congress is conducting a yatra called ‘Voice of the People’. In this case, BJP is accelerating its election work on the one hand. It is in this context that the in-charge and co-in-charge have been appointed to look after the election work of the state ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections.
