CM Bomma who contested from Shigaon is leading. City Ravi is behind in Chikmagalur. Ministers Ashok, Somanna, Sudhakar, Sriramulu and Jarkholi are trailing behind. Gali Somasekhar Reddy is leading in Bellary City. But in Hubli Dharwad the result is changing round to round between JD Shettar and Mahesh. A tough competition is going on between Congress and BJP candidates. In most of the constituencies, Congress leaders are leading. Minister Sawadi, who switched from BJP to Congress, continues to be in the forefront.
