The most representative Colombian singer of reggaeton in recent times, Karol G, performed this Friday, April 12, on one of her 2 dates agreed in our country for her tour ‘Tomorrow will be beautiful 2024’, which took place at the San Marcos Stadium . The popular ‘Bichota’ arrived last Thursday in Lima to offer an unforgettable experience to all attendees and loudly sang her hits such as ‘Provenza’, ‘My ex was right’, ‘Amargura’, among others.
The thousands of fans who arrived at the stadium early in the morning requested the presence of the Colombian through waves that they were making with their hands, while they illuminated the venue from their seats and exclaimed: “‘Bichota’, ‘Bichota’, ‘Bichota’ ‘!” After a few minutes, the stage lights turned on to tell us the artist’s story in their own fairy tale style to teleport all attendees to a magical world.
This prelude made fans’ skin crawl when they saw Karol G take the stage with his song ‘TQM’. She, very much in her style—with glasses, a yellow skirt, and a skin-colored jumpsuit—opened her concert and gave a touch of sensuality through choreography that captivated more than one.
The repertoire continued with ‘Besties’, in this part the Colombian invited to dance a reggaeton perfect for that night of partying with friends. “This is another one for them to fuck around at the clubs, well… all the besties, mine, the mamacitas.”
La ‘Bichota’ announced more successes with ‘Mi cama’ and revealed that she came to Peru to have a concert like no other. “I don’t know about you, but I’m going to have the coolest night of my life.”
The night continued with ‘The Boat’, a song that made more than one sing and that empowered the audience in a single that talks about the breakups of love and the rebirth that comes when taking flight again and letting go of that person who he loved himself so much.
As the second part of her presentation, Karol G returned to the stage with a white top and a red skirt, in clear allusion to the colors of our Peruvian flag. She delighted us with ‘Carolina’ and gave a touch of romanticism to the show. ‘Bichota’, to the rhythm of a ukulele, brought us ‘Mientras me curo del corazón’ and changed part of the lyrics to mention Peru as one of her favorite places.
“While I heal my heart, I’m going to Peru, to take advantage of the sun. And tomorrow will be prettier!” he intoned.
The Colombian, with her popular hat that has identified more than one fan and in the company of a band made up only of women, continued with ‘My ex was right’ and ‘Gucci los cloths’, songs that were chanted by the crowd. Those present did not hesitate to hug each other and sing with all their power, which created an atmosphere of empowerment.
In the third part of her presentation, the urban genre artist brought us ‘Mami’, a song that has been a boom in our country. The San Marcos Stadium vibrated with excitement, which caught the attention of ‘Bichota’, who invited them not to chant her lyrics, but to shout them at the top of their lungs.
“This part, mommy, is not sung, this is shouted! Repeat it, mommy, sometimes they don’t change you for something better, and not even for something tastier!” she expressed.
To close her show, Karol G sang ‘Contigo’, one of her latest releases. In this way, the most popular artist of the urban genre said goodbye to her fans on this first date in which there was no shortage of tears, emotion, the color pink or the magic that Karol G has brought on her tour ‘Tomorrow will be beautiful 2024’ .
