Raghurama said that there is no benefit with the adviser system. 40 percent of the advisers of the state government belong to the same social group. He said it is ironic to say ‘I don’t look at caste… I don’t look at religion’ while hiring his people. SC, ST and BC are useless for giving advice to the CM, he said harshly. It is said that only one person belonging to the minority community and one belonging to the ST social group have been appointed among the advisers.
He said that those who claim that they are the backbone of SC, ST and BC communities are doing injustice to them by not giving them posts. He said that giving cabinet status to 17 government advisors in the state is not correct. In Telangana too, Chief Minister KCR fired them as the court ruled against them. While the state government has 58 senior advisers, it has been flagged that there are up to 100 mini advisers.
Satires blasted that despite three advisors to the IT department, not a single IT company came to the state. It is clear in the letter written by a senior IAS officer that they are spending up to Rs.200 crores for these advisors. In the name of smart meters, a tender has been floated for Rs.56 thousand crores. He called the opposition parties to fight on this. Raghurama said that the arrest of Inturi brothers in the Kandukuru incident is ironic. He asked if they were taken away by the people and killed.
